We value health, exercise and participation

Grey Main School provides lots of opportunities to participate in team sports:

Rugby

Years 7/8 plus the opportunity to play for Star United Club from Year 5 up on Saturdays. Teams practice at the school either at lunchtime or after school. Contact person - Allie Costello in the library

Netball

Years 7/8 plus the opportunity to play for clubs from Year 1 on Saturdays. Teams practice at the school either at lunchtime or after school. Contact person - Allie Costello in the library

Rugby League

Years 7/8 plus the opportunity to play for clubs from Year 1 on Saturdays. Teams practice at the school either at lunchtime or after school. Contact person - Allie Costello in the library

Football

Years 7/8 plus the opportunity to play for Grey Main Football (from 6th Grade upwards) Club on Sundays.  Contact person – Carlos Junca phone 768 9788.

Miniball / Basketball 

Years 3-5 and Years 6-8.  These teams play in Terms 2 and 3 in an after school competition.

Softball / Pee Wee / Tee Ball

Each year we are asked to put teams in the competition on Saturday mornings.  This is dependent on parental support as teachers are unable to commit to Saturday mornings.

Swimming, Athletics, Cross Country

As a school we also compete in school, Grey District, West Coast and Canterbury Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country.
